The Adam Smith Society SMU Cox Chapter is open to all students enrolled in a graduate program at the Cox School of Business. This club brings together students and professionals to discuss and debate the contributions of the free market to advancing human flourishing and opportunity for all. As upcoming business leaders, we discuss the need for free enterprise and competition. We are happy to welcome graduate students pursuing business and law to come together for thoughtful discussion on economics, fiscal policy, capitalism, democracy, and so much more.

The Business Library is located in the Cox School of Business and provides access to dedicated business librarians offering classroom instruction, open enrollment workshops and reference services to the SMU community. The library collections feature prestigious research databases focused on the school’s academic disciplines. The Business Library contains the Kitt Investing & Trading Center, a dynamic instructional and research facility integrating financial data and technology into the curriculum, enhancing innovative faculty research, and teaching students practical finance and investment applications. The Business Library is open to anyone with a valid SMU ID or Alumni Library Card.

The Veterans in Business club is a Cox graduate club open to all students enrolled in a graduate program at the Cox School of Business as well as Deadman Law. Our overall mission here is to provide an area for Vet data sharing, be it transitioning, disability, schoolwork, industry, interview prep, etc.

We'll post events through here periodically but feel free to use this platform as an area to post questions, comments, concerns.
